Submit an article about intranets
When you have signed up you can submit links to articles about intranets. If you have written an interesting article about intranets or just stumbled upon a good article about intranets on the internet, you can share it on IntranetLounge. If you think the intranet community can benefit from it, please share it!
The only requirements is that the article (or website) has something to do with intranets.
Sharing an article to IntranetLounge will increase visits to the article and as it is another link to your site, which is good for SEO. Submitted stories will also be tweeted by intranetLounge.
Submitting is easy
- URL: The link to the article you want to submit. This site will retrieve the title and a description of the article automatically. However we recommend to review the automatic selected content and adapt it to your needs.
- Title: A suggestion for a title will be displayed automatically - review this and change if needed.
- Description: A suggested description will be displayed automatically - review and adapt if needed
- Tags: - Please fill in some tags that best categorize the content - it will help to relate the new article with other content
- Category: Select a category that best matches the article
The submitted article will immediately appear in the New Stories section.
That is all there is.... Oh no, one more thing to mention: the captha and possible spam submissions.
Captcha
To prevent automated spam bots place links to this site we use a Captcha for new members.
The Captcha will disappear after you have reached a certain member score.
We keep that number secret, but it is not high. After a few actions you will not be bothered anymore with the Captcha.
Spam submissions
There is also an automated process to check for posible spam. I won't tell more about it here. Normally, you should not notice this. However if you submitted a good article relating to intranets and it does not appear, it is likely that it is flagged and requires approval before it gets posted. And administrator will review the submissions ASAP.

But there is more! When you share article, you can see in your profile all the articles submitted by you:
Also when you submit a article you can choose your own tags for that article (there is a a suggestion feature on the site that displays existing tags) When you're logged in and have submitted an article with tags an extra tab will display with your selected tags. Clicking one of the tags will display all related artiles with the same tag.
What is OpenId?
We support OpenID login, which means if you have an account in Yahoo, AOL, Blogger, myOpenID etc you can login without registering in IntranetLounge.
If you do not have any OpenID account, you can get one free from here: MyOpenID. There is no difference between OpenID and signed up users, we treat both the same. However, some of the OpenID providers do not provide email address of user, which is required to get the complete benefits of IntranetLounge (e.g. comment notification via mail).
